Role Description

As our Epic Data Steward, you are responsible for managing the quality and integrity of Provider and Department Record data within the Electronic Medical Record (Epic).

• Independently maintain data accuracy and establish clear data definitions.
• Lead the build process for all new Provider records.
• Manage the decommissioning of Providers or Departments leaving the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for data-related issues.
• Serve as a Project Manager and Market Liaison for new department builds or changes facilitated by the CARES Team or IDEA projects.
• Collaborate with Market Network Integrity Coordinator, Hospital Med Staff, and CIN leadership to maintain Provider Network Affiliation within the Provider/Resource Dictionary (SER) Record.
• Perform Network Integrity audits on a regular cadence to ensure data accuracy.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot, and implement improvement plans to address identified issues.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and management regarding risks and timelines of identified issues.
• Monitor and manage the quality of datasets within Epic and interfaced systems, correct inconsistencies, and develop strategies for data accuracy.
• Manage onboarding templates (RBAC) to ensure correct end user access for all MHPF positions.
• Work with various stakeholders, including IT teams, Epic users, and leadership, to resolve Epic and integrated systems data challenges, share knowledge, and raise awareness of best practices.
• Support Epic data integration initiatives and ensure data consistency across systems, identifying opportunities for data consolidation and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, upon hire.
• 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, or application support and implementation.
• Experience working with project life-cycle.
• EPIC Certification, upon hire.

Requirements

• Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical-related industry (preferred).
