[Hiring] Epic Community Connect BI Developer @Inova

Role Description

Inova Health System Performance Analytics is looking for a dedicated Epic Community Connect BI Developer to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day shift working Monday – Friday.

• Assess client requirements and detail current data needs.
• Design and develop data mapping, data refresh & governance processes to create proper BI contents.
• Follow proper design and data architecture standards and best practices on BI development cycle.
• Ensure BI solutions are well documented.
• Support end users (centralized and federated) by publishing proper BI contents and data sources consistently.
• Work closely with Data Administrators and Data Architects for end-to-end management of BI content assets.
• Prepare and deliver training for end-users and new/existing team members for content created.
• Collaborate with vendors and support organizations on BI related incident tickets, software upgrade testing, process automation, and continuous process improvements.
• Maintain applications and facilitate updates, new releases, and system enhancements.
• Communicate project and team status to internal and external audiences including operations teams and steering committees.
• Facilitate problem resolution, escalations, and system-wide troubleshooting and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; or Associate’s degree and 2 years relevant professional experience; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting Epic Community Connect preferred.
• 3 years of experience with advanced report writing using SQL, PowerBI, Business Objects, Clarity, Caboodle, or similar relational database concepts with query techniques preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with analytical software, data tools, and data visualization preferred.
• Epic Certification - Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle.
• This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states: VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.
