[Hiring] Director of Data & Analytics @Jackpot

Role Description

We’re looking for a Director of Data & Analytics, responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution across Data Analytics and Data Science. Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Data Officer, you'll build and manage a data organization that powers product development, personalization, experimentation, and business intelligence. You’ll have an AI-first mentality in proactively seeking new and innovative ways to embed AI in our data organization.

While this is a remote position, you must be located or willing to relocate to the NYC Metro area to qualify.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across Data Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary data teams.
• Proven experience owning and scaling a modern data stack (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Fivetran, etc.).
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI across data verticals and an eagerness to continue to learn more.
• Experience building and maintaining production-level data pipelines and ML models.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks, causal inference, and experimentation platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated data concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Requirements

• Background in gaming, lottery, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with real-time data architectures (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience with consumer personalization systems, recommendation models, or lifecycle optimization.
• Familiarity with MarTech and CDPs (Optimove, Braze, etc.).
• Expertise in LTV modeling, and fraud/risk models.
• Experience in high-growth consumer or tech startups.
