[Hiring] Director, Data Analytics @Cityblock Health

Role Description

Design and build analytic solutions that will inform business decisions, drive operations, measure our performance and demonstrate our value as a company. This analytics professional services as a business partner to our Member Outreach, Provider Networks, Gaps in Care or Clinical Operations stakeholders, ensuring analytic insights are delivered as committed in a way that adds value.

• Analyze operational data, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and contribute to the development of effective reporting and analytics solutions.
• Work with complex healthcare data, communicating findings to the team.
• Passion for health care data and creating solutions that drive value with analytics insights.
• Directly manage and mentor a team of analysts, overseeing daily workflow prioritization and professional development.
• Establish credibility and trusted working partnerships with clinical, operational and research leaders.
• Provide consultative analytics to support cases for change.
• Architect and develop complex analytics and reporting solutions.
• Implement and configure reporting technologies in the Google tech stack, using DBT and SQL.
• Perform complex descriptive analyses over production-scale data sets to drive business decisions.
• Build-out real-time reporting (both tabular and visual) and work with data tooling across Clinical, Product, Network and Market.
• Design reports to steer value-driven business lines and implement robust evaluation frameworks.
• Ensure data quality and validation, utilizing data cleansing techniques.
• Drive automation capabilities into reporting solutions.
• Retain analytics repository and relevant documentation.
• Support professional growth of team members by sharing and training on best practices.
• Document and maintain domain-specific analytics roadmap.
• Deliver analytics supporting business needs and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and value new opportunities to improve care and/or operations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a formal people leadership capacity, managing teams of individual contributors.
• 5+ years experience in advanced analytics, delivering actionable insights from data.
• 5+ years experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, and multiple scripting languages (SQL, Scala, R, Python, etc).
• Bachelor's degree.
