Role Description

This position performs Data Warehouse Architecture at an intermediate level. Essential responsibilities are focused on:

• Design and development of data models and ETL specifications
• Data analysis
• System design and architecture
• Standards and policy administration
• Vendor coordination and relations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' of data design/data architecture experience and/or minimum 2 years’ of data warehouse architecture experience
• Dimensional modeling experience
• Data quality assessment
• Proficiency with SQL
• Agile/Scrum methodology
• Source Target mapping
• Data Analysis
• Preferred experience in health care or managed care
• Metadata management
• Performance tuning and optimization
• Cloud warehousing solutions
• Health insurance
• Systems analysis and design
• Experience gathering requirements from and collaborating with both technical and non-technical business groups
• Experience being the liaison between the business and developers
• Experience gathering requirements and then translating that information into a specification document

Requirements

• Working knowledge/skills of Microsoft SQL Server
• Working knowledge of cloud data warehousing tools such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Working knowledge/skills of ETL tools, such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory
• Advanced troubleshooting of system performance issues and root cause
• Working knowledge/skills of unit and integration testing
