Role Description

This role involves developing and optimizing computational workflows for molecular diagnostic products within a research and development setting. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to enhance sequencing analysis and reporting processes. The position requires a strong understanding of bioinformatics and biostatistics to contribute to innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Streamline existing computational analysis pipelines.
• Manage and process diverse data sources.
• Enhance computational efficiency in research workflows.
• Develop and maintain bioinformatics analysis pipelines.
• Script and program for process automation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and R scripting.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Experience in molecular diagnostics or a related life science industry is preferred.

Requirements

• Primary Skills: Python/R/C/C++ (advanced), Workflow Pipeline (advanced), SQL (intermediate), Data Visualization (beginner), Linux (advanced)
• Contract Type: W2
• Duration: 6 Months
• Location: Remote - PST
• Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr
