Role Description
You will work on and contribute to:
- Pricing and Promotion recommendation tools
- Pricing elasticity modeling
You will be:
- Working with data scientists, analysts, engineers and product management to implement enhancements, develop new features and translate business requirements into our data science and analytics initiatives
- Delivering on a wide spectrum of data-related tasks, ranging from reporting and analytics requests to the implementation and analysis of machine learning models
- Developing good quality code that is easily scalable and automated
- Working alongside engineers to ensure seamless integration of your work with tools that are live in a production environment
Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in developing data science and analytics solutions in a business setting
- Strong Python skills required
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency working with Spark
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to derive conclusions and questions from data patterns
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub
- Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP)
- Understanding of basic software engineering best practices to write reusable code that can easily be put into production
- Team player, always willing to support your colleagues to the best of your ability
- Proactive mindset towards problem-solving, a “can-do” attitude is expected
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and proficiency in communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Ready to start up to 4 weeks
- Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required
Nice to have
- Docker and orchestration tools is a plus
- Experience using visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio
