[Hiring] Data Science and Analytics Pharmacist @UCSF

Role Description

The Data Science and Analytics Pharmacist is involved in all aspects of the medication use process at all pharmacy locations within the UCSF Health System. They may also be asked to participate in pharmaceutical care in other sectors of the Department of Pharmaceutical Services as needed. The Data Science and Analytics Pharmacist applies advanced professional clinical informatics concepts and extensive knowledge of medication-use systems and technology to projects of all levels of scope and complexity.

• Leading and supporting pharmacy services initiatives and practice as a pharmacy informatics subject matter expert
• Responding to intra-departmental analytics requests
• Designing data visualization tools for departmental utilization
• Developing necessary reports and data files to support the pharmacy department
• Working with all departments of pharmacy to support the integration of pharmacy systems with internal and/or external applications and systems

Qualifications

• Advanced professional clinical informatics knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of medication-use systems and technology

Requirements

• Participation in pharmaceutical care in various sectors of the Department of Pharmaceutical Services as needed
