Role Description
This role involves supporting the content written by our expert editors by collecting, classifying, and reviewing data that will be used to subsidize our articles. This is fundamental to the business’ success, ensuring we are able to publish content quickly, accurately, and to a high standard first time.
- Assist in gathering and compiling relevant datasets from internal and external sources to support research initiatives.
- Conduct data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency is maintained across research projects.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to brainstorm and execute data research projects.
- Assist in maintaining data quality by conducting regular data audits and performing quality control tasks.
- Provide ad-hoc research support as needed for ongoing or new projects within the data research team.
- Ensure the data is entered correctly and in the expected format.
- Note any discrepancies, non-conforming data, or other issues and escalate it if necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of experience in data research.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
