Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer for a project-based role focused on migrating current Informatica processes to SQL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Cloud, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Analyze and understand existing Informatica workflows and mappings to identify the general data flow.
- Convert Informatica workflows and mappings into a series of SQL statements to achieve the same output.
- Utilize Redshift SQL to ensure seamless data integration and transformation.
- Identify and implement Informatica transformations and correlate them with SQL functions.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Informatica transformations and their correlation to SQL functions.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL, with a preference for Redshift SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
