[Hiring] Data Integration Engineer @IIIIIIUS

Role Description

The Data Integration Engineer will design and implement secure, traceable data pipelines and integrations for the migration and modernization of government data. The role focuses on mapping, transformation, validation, monitoring, and reliable movement of structured and unstructured data.

Job Location: Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and optimize ETL and data-integration pipelines.
• Map and transform legacy data into approved target schemas and models.
• Create integrations using APIs, database tools, and data-platform services.
• Implement data-quality checks, validation, monitoring, security, and traceability.
• Tune data movement and storage for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with data governance personnel, subject-matter experts, developers, and testers.

What You Will Bring With You

• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
• Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
• Candidate must be able to pass successful Public Trust background check.
• US Citizenship is required by the federal government for this position.
• Minimum five years of experience designing and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines, ETL, data models, validation, storage, and retrieval.

What We Would Like You To Bring With You

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; directly related experience may be considered in place of education.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SSIS and at least one of Python, Java, Scala, or R.
• Experience with APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud data platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile delivery teams and collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.
• Azure, AWS, GCP, or data-engineering certification.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $98,614.00 - $167,644.00.
