Role Description

We have got a contract opportunity for Sr. Data Insights Developer with one of our direct clients. The details of the position are given below.

• Title: Sr. Data Insights Developer
• Location: Mclean, VA - Remote
• Duration: 8+ months

• 10 PLUS years of experience in building and maintaining business intelligence solutions including data warehouse and ETL pipelines in data-intensive organizations
• Cloud database systems including 3+ years with Snowflake
• Hands-on reporting experience leveraging Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Developing data visualization dashboards with drill-down reporting
• Developing data models and data structures for data warehouse to support optimized user experience with BI dashboards and reports
• Proficiency in writing and performance tuning complex SQL queries
• Able to build data integrations and ingestion pipelines for streaming and batch data
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google
• Design and develop data insights solutions involving Snowflake and Looker
• Collaborate with product manager, architect and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data insights
• Develop and deploy business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization
• Design and develop LookML Models, Explore, Dashboards and Workflows in Looker
• Deep understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and database technologies and database security practices
• Experience in designing database logical and physical schema design including logical and physical database schema designs for large scale, highly available and mission-critical application systems

Qualifications

• Preferred background in healthcare data, especially patient-centric clinical data and provider data is a plus
• Proficiency in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT
