[Hiring] Data Engineering Internship @Chartbeat Inc.

Role Description

As an Engineering Intern at Chartbeat, you will have the opportunity to work with our core engineering team responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining our data systems, front end, analysis engines, and APIs.

• Work on a small cross-functional scrum team (typically, a few engineers, a designer, a data scientist, and a product manager).
• Collaborate to plan sprint goals and execute on those.
• Participate in team meetings, demos, tech talks, discussions, and learning/teaching opportunities.
• Work closely with a mentor to build and deploy our products.

During your time at Chartbeat, you can expect to work with a modern software development stack and engineering systems built for scale.

• Meet heads of other departments such as Sales, Finance, Product, and more.
• Gain insights into how an enterprise SaaS company works end to end.
• The internship will be fully remote with an expectation to work during US east coast business hours.
• A MacBook will be provided for use during the internship.
• Interns in the NYC area will have the chance to meet local team members at a co-working space occasionally.
• Interns can expense two lunches every month when meeting with anyone at the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in one of the preferred coding languages: Python, SQL.
• Basic knowledge of working with version control software (git).
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
