Role Description

Entry level to Senior level Data Engineers (Multiple Positions)

Remote

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements:
• Automating manual processes
• Creating CI/CD pipelines
• Optimizing data delivery
• Re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using:
• Hadoop
• Spark
• Kafka
• SQL databases
• AWS Cloud Services
• Big data RDS
• Redshift
• Storm
• Spark-Streaming
• Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, R, SAS, Java, C++, Scala
• MapReduce
• HDFS
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into:
• Customer acquisition
• Operational efficiency
• Other key business performance metrics
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Must be willing to travel to set up systems to various clients at unanticipated locations across the nation and perform feasibility studies and evaluate user requirements.
