Role Description
The Data and Accountability Manager/Analytics/Science includes:
- Creating data mining architectures/models/protocols
- Statistical reporting
- Data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets
- Researching and applying knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions
This role manipulates, analyzes, and communicates data to:
- Facilitate removing barriers between campus and parents
- Increase parents’ engagement resulting in closing the academic gaps between at-risk students and the general population
This is a full-time REMOTE position requiring the ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office without distraction during work hours, typically 8am-5pm central time.
Essential functions include:
- Designing and producing weekly reports for Title 1 education program and HB1416 tutorial
- Reporting students’ attendance to TEA for state accountability
- Supporting campus data requests, e.g. Title 1 HB1416, ad hoc principal requests, etc.
- Analyzing data for program effectiveness and collaborating to present data regarding program effectiveness
- Tracking growth measures on beginning of year, middle of year, and end of year and interims as needed
- Compiling student academic information for intervention program and maintaining a database of students active in the program
- Performing duties that supplement student success in any area other than the regular education program, e.g. parent/family liaison
- Training/assisting in training students and parents on how to read student state accountability results
- Supporting in-person state testing as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of related professional experience
Requirements
- Three (3) years of relevant experience with data analysis including developing reports and dashboards
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient with Power BI
- Proficient with Access or similar database
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, training, and to support in-person state testing
- Ability to clear required background check
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Teacher Certification preferred but not required
