Role Description

StarTech.com is continuing to grow our Data Analytics team and we are looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data across key areas of the business, including:

• Product performance
• Inventory
• Revenue
• Customer insights
• Marketing

Your work will help shape business decisions, optimize performance, and support continued growth. You will be responsible for:

• Transforming data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful insights
• Building models and delivering reporting that informs strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Technology, or related field (Master’s in Analytics is an asset)
• 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role working with large datasets
• Strong experience with Power BI and Power Query
• Advanced Excel skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Python or R
• Experience or interest in AI tools and applications

• Analyze key business metrics to evaluate and improve strategic initiatives
• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Build data models and generate summary statistics using analytics tools
• Develop reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization
