Role Description
As a Data Analyst at Whizz, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive key business decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, and Engineering, to support strategic initiatives and improve performance across the organization.
- Create and maintain analytical dashboards using SQL queries for custom charts and tables (Metabase).
- Create reports to visualize data insights for management (Metabase).
- Perform various ad hoc research and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Analyze customer behavior, operational performance, and product usage trends.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define KPIs and monitor performance.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and dashboards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SQL, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
- Strong working knowledge of Metabase is required.
- Good understanding of data visualization best practices and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
Requirements
- Understanding of statistical methods and predictive analytics (nice to have).
- Familiarity with API data sources and automation tools (nice to have).
- Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices (nice to have).
