[Hiring] Commercial and Business Intelligence Analyst @Transcontinental

Role Description

We are currently looking for a Commercial and Business Intelligence Analyst who will provide consulting services both internally and externally to help retail clients optimize their marketing efforts or develop their businesses.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze marketing, commercial, and geographic data to identify growth opportunities.
• Translate analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Build compelling and structured presentations (PowerPoint) to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, data) on high-impact projects.
• Contribute to the evolution of analytical methodologies, tools, and performance metrics.
• Support a variety of initiatives: media optimization, in-store performance, geomarketing analysis, and more.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, marketing, or business intelligence.
• Strong ability to translate data into business insights.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
• Comfortable building clear, structured, and insight-driven presentations.
• Understanding of retail, marketing, or consumer behavior (strong asset).
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and strategic thinking.
• Experience in data preparation, transformation, and integration for analytical purposes.
• Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written (you will work with clients across Canada).
