[Hiring] Chief Data Officer @YOMALI

Role Description

This role exists to fix the inconsistencies in data reporting across Yomali Group's five fast-growing businesses in ecommerce, fintech, and BPO. You'll create the Group's first central data function, reporting directly to the Group CFO. The purpose is to ensure every leader in the Group makes decisions from data that is accurate, consistently defined, and trusted.

What you'll own:

• A full audit of how data is captured, stored, and reported across all five companies.
• Design and delivery of a Group data warehouse, built with your Data Architect on Microsoft Fabric, integrating HubSpot, HiBob, Microsoft Dynamics, and more.
• Data governance and a single set of Group-wide KPI definitions, agreed and adopted across every business.
• Automated Power BI reporting that allows each company and the Group to see its performance clearly.
• Leadership of a team of four: three existing analysts and a Data Architect you'll help hire.
• Over time, the shift from building the data foundations to using data strategically, helping leaders identify opportunities and problems.

What success looks like:

• 30 days: You've listened across every business, audited the current landscape, and identified real problems.
• 90 days: The governance framework and core Group KPI definitions are agreed. The warehouse architecture is signed off.
• 12 months: The warehouse is live. Every company reports from one validated source. Leadership trusts the numbers they take into the boardroom.

Qualifications

• A track record of building a data function from scratch, not just running an established one.
• Experience working across multiple businesses, entities, or business units.
• Hands-on data governance: you've created metric definitions and made them stick across teams that didn't want to change.
• Enough technical depth to direct and sign off architecture decisions, without needing to build everything yourself.
• Strong influence and change management skills; you can bring senior leaders with you without relying on authority.
• Comfort leading in a fully remote, distributed organization.
• Bonus points for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience, or a background in ecommerce, fintech, or BPO.

• People who audit before they design; comfortable in ambiguity and move quickly without cutting corners.
• Enjoy explaining the "why" as much as delivering the "what."
• Composed when the data tells an uncomfortable story; need the judgment to handle that well and the conviction to hold the line.
