[Hiring] Business Intelligence Manager @WPP Media

Role Description

As a Business Intelligence Manager (All), you will leverage your expertise in data, analytics, and technology to drive insight-led media performance for our global client. Your responsibilities will span:

• Dashboard development
• Data pipeline optimization
• Stakeholder engagement
• Cross-functional collaboration

Your key tasks include:

• BI and Data Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, BI reports, and optimize ETL processes and data models for efficient and scalable data insights.
• AI-Assisted Development: Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI) to accelerate SQL and dbt script writing, debug data anomalies, and streamline data workflows.
• Performance Analysis & Strategic Collaboration: Analyze media performance data to identify trends and anomalies, collaborate with media, marketing, and tech teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, and influence strategy through clear data presentation.
• Data Integrity & Innovation: Ensure data integrity through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of backend data infrastructure, while staying ahead of industry best practices and advancements in BI, data visualization, and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business intelligence or reporting specialist.
• Practical, daily experience using Generative AI tools as a research and coding co-pilot, with the core technical expertise to confidently guide and validate AI outputs.
• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools, and strong SQL and scripting skills (Python, R, etc.) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or Matlab).
• Cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and skilled in Git; experience with dbt (data build tool) is a plus.
