Role Description
This role involves leveraging extensive experience to plan and accomplish goals while independently performing a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
- Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems.
- Familiar with industry standards (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering.
- Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
- Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Prepares and documents Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work.
- Assists with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements.
- Develops RFPs and assists in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms.
- Works with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions.
- Documents and provides knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project manager.
Qualifications
- 16 or more years of experience in the field.
- Multiple Infor Global HR/BN/LP/Payroll Implementations.
- Infor Version 11 application upgrade experience.
- 15+ years Lawson Versions 8, 9, 10 for Human Resources (HR), Benefits (BN), Payroll (PR), Absence/Leave (LP), Personnel (PA).
- 3+ years of implementation CloudSuite experience specifically GHR and Payroll.
- 15+ years experience with BSI-Tax factory.
Requirements
- Local or non-local candidates may be submitted.
- Please note, this is a fully remote position; however, a 100% remote contractor may be required to travel to meet with the State of Michigan, at the discretion of the State of Michigan, at the expense of the vendor, if a face-to-face meeting is deemed necessary by the State of Michigan for incident resolution.
