Role Description

The Business Analyst is responsible for designing and generating reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business operations.

Analyzing trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights
Maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in reporting
Utilizing SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools to extract and manipulate data
Conducting statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making
Translating complex data into concise, easy-to-understand reports for stakeholders
Assisting in the development, implementation, and optimization of business information systems
Maintaining data structures, queries, and reporting tools to support business needs
Working closely with IT teams to ensure data availability and system functionality
Documenting business processes, data sources, and reporting methodologies
Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement
Providing recommendations for enhancing data collection, storage, and analysis methods
Working closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT to understand reporting needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Experience working with healthcare data
Understanding of claims and how they are paid
3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data reporting, or analytics
Experience working with business intelligence (BI) tools, SQL querying, and reporting software
Experience working with large datasets and multiple databases
