[Hiring] BI/Data Analyst @SEARADAR

Role Description

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a BI / Data Analyst who can turn complex data into clear business insights and help teams make faster, better-informed decisions. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other key business functions.

Tasks

• BI & Reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Monitor key business KPIs and provide regular performance snapshots to stakeholders.
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and visualizations.
  • Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, reliable, and easy to understand.
• Business Analysis
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Calculate and forecast key business metrics such as run rates, margins, ROI, and other performance indicators.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and concrete recommendations.
  • Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and support teams in making data-driven decisions.
• Experiments & Decision Support
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests.
  • Evaluate statistical significance and help teams interpret experiment results correctly.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other teams to define data requirements and measure the impact of business initiatives.
• Data Quality & Infrastructure
  • Validate and clean data to minimize discrepancies and maintain high-quality reporting.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing data.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to internal data collection and reporting processes.
• AI & Automation
  • Use AI-powered analytics tools to accelerate analysis and surface insights, anomalies, and recommendations.
  • Explore opportunities to automate repetitive analytical workflows.
  • Build or configure AI-powered analytical tools, agents, notebooks, or insight-generation workflows where relevant.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong hands-on experience working with SQL-based data warehouses, particularly Google BigQuery.
• Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery/PostgreSQL).
• Strong Python skills, particularly Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Expert-level Google Sheets skills; Apps Script is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business and financial metrics, including ROI and Gross Margin.
• Experience with forecasting and performance analysis.
• Good understanding of statistical significance, hypothesis testing, and A/B test design.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to work within a European time zone.
• Based outside of Russia and Belarus.

Requirements

• Experience building or configuring AI-powered analytical tools or agents (nice to have).
• Experience with custom prompts, AI-driven notebooks, or automated insight-generation workflows (nice to have).
• Experience designing, training, or fine-tuning AI-based tools for data analysis rather than only using off-the-shelf AI assistants (nice to have).
• Experience in a startup, marketplace, TravelTech, or other data-driven digital business (nice to have).
