Role Description

Netrix Global is looking for an AWS Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer acts as critical members of the data science team. Their tasks involve:

• Researching, building, and designing the artificial intelligence responsible for machine learning.
• Maintaining and improving existing artificial intelligence systems.
• Serving as a critical communicator between data science team members.
• Working directly with data scientists who develop models for building AI systems.
• Collaborating with those who construct and run AI systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks such as ETL, data preparation & ingestion, data streaming.
• Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS) for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data processing tools.
• Intermediate/Upper English Level.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.
• Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

Requirements

• Identifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern Data solutions and Data for AI.
• Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
• Designing, building, and managing Datalakes architectures.
• Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.).
• Integrating and testing Data solutions.
• Creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.
• Working with Big Data Environments.
• Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.
• Analyzing and preparing data for Machine Learning workloads.
• Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services.
