Role Description

The Analytics & Clinical Effectiveness (A&CE) Specialist at Stanford Medicine Children's Health is a key contributor to the Analytics & Clinical Effectiveness Department within the Center for Pediatric & Maternal Value (cpmV). This role involves:

• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Serving as an analytical thought partner in support of health equity initiatives and improvement efforts.
• Providing expertise to health equity-oriented analytics strategies.
• Supporting the implementation, dissemination, and adoption of the Health Equity Measurement Framework.
• Conducting in-depth data discovery, curating, and analyzing comprehensive healthcare data.
• Translating complex business questions into effective analytics solutions.
• Integrating project management and improvement science to interpret analytic findings.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement via evidence-based practices.
• Collaborating with various business units for key elements of SMCH’s Quality portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• No licensure/certification required.

Requirements

• Ability to use statistics to evaluate and interpret data.
• Demonstrated ability as a highly creative, motivated self-starter.
• Expertise in advanced quantitative and relational database tools (i.e., advanced Excel, SQL, R/Python/SAS/STATA).
• Expertise with Business Intelligence reporting and data visualization tools (i.e., SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI, Tableau).
• Outstanding organizational and project planning skills.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) data highly desirable.
• Knowledge of healthcare improvement science methods and tools.

• Salary within ranges determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities.
• Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $58.28 to $75.76.
