Role Description

The Analytics and Reporting Consultant's primary responsibility is to leverage strong Tableau skills and healthcare industry knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders for the IL Commercial HMO and Marketplace. This role will be accountable for the analytical support and consultancy of internal/external customers and advisory service for internal/external senior leaders. The individual in this role will use their healthcare industry knowledge to report and review data in Excel, SQL, Python, and R. The individual will primarily use their storytelling skills leveraging Tableau and Power BI to display outcomes and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action OR 9 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in support of information-related strategies.
• Experience solving complex problems; Experience taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Knowledge of various software development processes, including SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools and technologies.
• Experience creating and conducting presentations to inform and influence.
• Experience in leading functional teams and projects.
• Experience with SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, Python, etc.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or mathematics (preferred).
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Healthcare experience in business development, business analytics, or innovation management (preferred).
