Mar 20, 2025 - RJP is hiring a remote Host/Hostess. 💸 Salary: €1281 - €1581 per month. 📍Location: France.
Role Description
This host will be the first person our customers see and deal with, which means the candidate will need to be well presented, with an impeccable personal appearance and a friendly and welcoming manner. The host needs to be able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a controlled and professional exterior.
You will need to have an organised and focused mind to be able to control the seating and organisation of the two venues. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills. You will be dealing with many different nationalities, mainly English and Spanish, so good knowledge of both of these languages is essential within this role.
- Arranging seating plans for the restaurant and show venue
- Welcoming guests and seating guests
- Ability to use restaurant and ticketing software
- Maintaining a high level of personal appearance
- Answering questions and giving productive and constructive answers
- Ensuring the guests are happy and receiving quality service
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Decisiveness
- Approachability and punctuality
- High level of personal hygiene and appearance
- Willingness to learn new software programs
- Computer literate
- English Language essential
- Spanish language essential
- Other languages are a bonus
