Role Description
This role involves collecting delinquent student loans to protect assets.
- Manual outbound collection attempts are initiated via auto-dialer.
- Initiate a small percentage of incoming calls.
- Pay rate of $14.00 per hour with a monthly commission plan of up to $1,250 per month.
- Must reside within a 60-mile radius of Lincoln, NE, Brownsville, TX, and Atlanta, GA.
- Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW) philosophy.
- Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.
- Contact borrowers via telephone, mail, and email to establish payment arrangements to rectify outstanding delinquencies on accounts.
- Determine the most appropriate plan of action to resolve past due accounts using strong negotiation skills.
- Provide pertinent account information and history to educate borrowers on the seriousness of the issue.
- Update demographic and other additional information on borrower accounts via the servicing system.
- Perform additional collection activities related to collections documents and reports.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- 2 years of customer service, collection, and general work experience preferred.
