Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Virtual Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as the frontline support for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional service through high-volume inbound calls and light claims processing.

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients, addressing questions about benefits, coverage, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Provide clear explanations of insurance benefits, including benefits quoting and benefits overview.
• Assist with light claims processing tasks to ensure seamless member experiences.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and members, offering accurate information and resolving inquiries efficiently.
• Utilize specialized software to document interactions and process information accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working with health plan members in a customer service capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in explaining EOBs, benefits, and coverage details.
• Proven ability to handle high call volumes with professionalism and accuracy (specific call volume details to be confirmed).
• Prior experience with commercial insurance and benefits quoting is required.
• Strong internet connection with minimum speeds of 25 MBPS download and upload.
• High-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace for remote work.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
