Role Description

To provide essential scheduling and technical support for telehealth services, ensuring smooth virtual care delivery and a positive experience for patients and providers. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the coordination of telehealth services and maintain confidentiality.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and track telehealth appointments, including no-shows and cancellations.
• Serve as the primary contact for patients and clinicians accessing virtual visits; provide remote technical guidance.
• Verify and update patient data in EHR systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Support billing and insurance processes, including prior authorizations, claims coordination, and invoicing.
• Conduct audit tasks like master patient index reviews and daily visit audits.
• Basic technical problem-solving for patients and providers.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, billing workflows, referral processes, or prior authorization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry standards.
• Familiarity with secure messaging platforms and communication tools.
