[Hiring] Student Support Agent @Remote World

Role Description

You'll help students get the most out of the platform — resolving technical issues, answering questions about courses and billing, and making sure nothing gets in the way of their learning. You'll work via live chat and email and be the friendly face of the product.

What you'll do

• Handle inbound queries from students via live chat and email
• Troubleshoot access, video playback, and account login issues
• Help with billing, refund requests, and subscription changes
• Escalate technical bugs to the product team with clear reproduction steps
• Update the help centre with answers to questions that come up repeatedly

Qualifications

• Excellent written English — clear, patient, and encouraging
• Comfortable explaining technical steps to non-technical users
• Organised and able to manage a support queue independently
• Genuine interest in education and helping people learn

Requirements

• Experience in edtech, e-learning, or academic support (nice to have)
• Familiarity with helpdesk tools (Intercom, Freshdesk, or similar) (nice to have)
• Background in teaching, tutoring, or student services (nice to have)
