Role Description

Great opportunity for a Patient Scheduling Representative to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Job is fully Remote

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 PM daily hours
• First 2 weeks of Mandatory training M; thru F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. EST

What a Patient Scheduling Representative will do:

• Schedule outpatient hospital procedures over the phone, while providing a high-level customer service experience.
• Obtain, verify orders and referrals from providers.
• Obtaining patient demographics.
• Verify that ordered procedures have been authorized by insurance.
• Provide instructions to patients on test / procedure preparation.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology
• Data entry, and technical skills including 50-60 keystrokes per min.
• Preferred previous experience min of 1 year in medical office, or hospital-based setting.
