[Hiring] Scheduling Specialist @Mercy Medical Center

Role Description

The Scheduling Specialist coordinates the scheduling of patient visits to include ancillary appointments or booking OR procedures or imaging exams. Ensure pre-visit information is accurate to support visit authorization. Maintains knowledge of insurance requirements to facilitate/communicate precertification requirements of our contracted payers. Provide exemplary customer service to those served.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in customer service and/or Patient Access

Requirements

• Min USD $21.15/Hr.
• Max USD $34.90/Hr.
