[Hiring] Sales and Customer Support Consultant @IDEXX

Role Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales and Customer Support Consultant to join our dynamic and close-knit team in either Spain or France, to help support our Customer & Sales Support Team. If you enjoy taking initiative, working independently, and making a real impact, this role is for you.

You will serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, orders, and submissions, coordinating processes across various departments, and assisting field sales representatives.

• Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries via email and phone
• Take full ownership of customer requests, ensuring fast, accurate, and solution-oriented responses
• Manage and support customer accounts within your assigned region
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, consistently exceeding expectations
• Prepare and manage quotations, entering and maintaining data in our billing systems
• Proactively inform customers about new products, services, and processes
• Work closely with internal teams (logistics, laboratory, billing) to coordinate end-to-end processes smoothly
• Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships in collaboration with the field sales team
• Maintain and update customer data in Salesforce, ensuring high data quality

Qualifications

• You have completed vocational training as an office clerk or have a degree in life sciences or veterinary sciences.
• You possess a strong service-oriented mindset, and verbal and written communication in French or Spanish and English are among your strengths.
• You are proficient in using common Microsoft Office programs.
• You are motivated and enjoy working in a team. Moreover, you are not a fan of routine and love to be presented with new challenges.
• Your thinking and working style is characterized by both creativity and empathy, yet it is very detailed and precise.
• You have problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You can work independently and as part of a team.
