Role Description

At Avesis, The Provider Relations Representative I plays a pivotal role, acting as the essential liaison between the company and its network of participating vision care providers. Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with providers.
• Delivering best-in-class provider education and training.
• Resolving provider issues and researching challenges.
• Leading key projects that enhance provider engagement and satisfaction.
• Conducting provider outreach remotely via phone/email/video.
• Documenting all provider interactions in accordance with departmental standards.
• Maintaining thorough and timely records for accountability and transparency.
• Managing relationships and performance of assigned provider groups.
• Completing provider orientation for all applicable product lines.
• Coordinating with various departments to develop operational solutions.
• Educating providers on state program, group policies, and compliance requirements.
• Investigating and responding to provider-related issues.
• Using various computer programs, including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the state of Mississippi.
• High School diploma or equivalent (Prefer associate degree or higher); experience may substitute for education.
• Comprehension of Medical/Dental Terminology.
• Previous Dental office administration experience.
• Ability to travel 10-20% to attend trade shows.
• Maintain internet service that allows for essential job duties.

Requirements

• Previous Provider Relations experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Certified Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certified or Certified dental assistance (CDA) (preferred).
