[Hiring] Phone Receptionist @Rekall Technologies

Role Description

Rekall Technologies is seeking a reliable Remote Phone Receptionist to handle all incoming calls, voicemails, and help to create tickets for our Helpdesk Technicians. This position is fully remote, covering the hours between 8am-5pm EST.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Switchboard Management: Operate company multi-line telephone systems, screening, answering, and directing incoming calls to the appropriate departments or staff members.
• Message Handling: Record and relay accurate messages via email, internal messaging platforms, or corporate communication groups (e.g., Microsoft Teams) when staff are unavailable.
• General Correspondence: Manage company inboxes, respond to general public queries, and forward specific requests to the relevant units.

Qualifications

• A National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)
• 1 to 3+ years of proven experience in a receptionist, switchboard operating, or customer service role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment (printers, scanners).
• A clear, polite, and professional speaking voice with a high customer-service orientation.
• Ability to handle high call volumes without losing attention to detail.
• Capacity to remain calm and empathetic when dealing with frustrated or demanding clients.
• High level of integrity when handling confidential corporate and personal information.
