Role Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and people-focused Phone Booker to join our growing remote team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective candidates—helping schedule interviews, confirm appointments, and ensure a smooth, professional experience from the very first conversation.

What You'll Do

• Make outbound calls to warm leads who have expressed interest in our opportunities
• Confirm candidate interest and answer basic scheduling questions
• Schedule appointments using our online calendar system
• Follow up with candidates who missed or need to reschedule appointments
• Maintain accurate notes and update candidate records in our recruiting system
• Communicate professionally through phone, email, and text when appropriate
• Collaborate with the recruiting team to keep the interview pipeline moving efficiently

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Friendly, professional phone etiquette
• Confidence making a high volume of outbound calls
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Consistent follow-up and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new technology
• Previous experience in appointment setting, customer service, recruiting, scheduling, call center operations, administrative support, or sales is helpful—but not required. We provide comprehensive training.

Important Information About This Opportunity

• This is a 100% remote, independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life.
• Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven; this is not an hourly or salaried position.
• Candidates selected to move forward should be prepared to:
  • Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Provide their own computer/laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace
  • Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings
  • Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities
  • Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense
• No prior insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided.
