[Hiring] Patient Services Specialist Transition Associate @American Oncology Network

Role Description

Subject matter expert and trainer on transition issues related to front desk operations of clinic. Support staff transitioning to a new organization, and act as an advocate for change of necessary policies. To embed transition within the organization, delivering capability for staff to understand and respond appropriately to transition-related issues. Train all new employees meeting all deadlines.

• Evaluate current processes and make recommendations on how to integrate them into new processes within AON.
• Demonstrate a thorough and detailed understanding of all SOP’s to ensure that they are applied appropriately during the integration process.
• Write SOPs and deliver them.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
• Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
• Responsible for overseeing training of staff from various locations, both in person and via webinar.
• Will be expected to assist in other areas when requested to ensure a smooth transition.
• Extensive travel, including extended stays out of state will be required.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
• Minimum 3 years of patient service specialist experience required.
• Prior Training experience.

• Good command of the English language; second language is an asset but not required.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal.
• Expert in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
• Workday experience required.
• Travel: >75%
• Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional weekend work may be required pending transition needs.
