Role Description

Looking for a remote customer service and administrative role with opportunities for growth? Join Texas Physical Therapy Specialists (TexPTS), a member of the Confluent Health family, and help patients navigate their care experience from their very first interaction with our organization.

As a Remote Patient Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll combine customer service, scheduling, administrative support, and call center responsibilities to help patients get connected with the care they need. You’ll:

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions.
• Schedule new patient appointments for assigned physical therapy clinics.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for every patient.
• Listen to patient needs, identify solutions, and resolve questions or concerns in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clinic teams to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately.
• Accurately enter and update patient information in computer systems.
• Document calls and patient interactions accurately.
• Request and upload required documentation into electronic medical record systems.
• Follow established scheduling procedures and quality standards.
• Meet individual and team performance goals and participate in training, coaching, and team meetings.

• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Experience in customer service, call centers, scheduling, reception, hospitality, administrative support, or healthcare is a plus.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service or other service-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work.
• Ability to successfully complete required training.
