Role Description

When you join RadNet as our Outreach Specialist I, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders - patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

• Contact patients through our internal calling system to schedule mammograms and other imaging exams.
• Educate patients about the importance of early cancer detection through regular screening exams.
• Utilize scripts and handle objections to successfully schedule appointments.
• Identify patient needs and offer appropriate service solutions and support.
• Manage a high volume of calls efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure accurate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and updates in the RIS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of medical or radiology office experience (or relevant medical training/education).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for patient care with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Follows OSHA regulations, RadNet and site protocols, policies and procedures.
• Follows HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety and confidentiality standards at all times.
• Practices universal safety precautions.
