Role Description

Kendall’s Grill is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Online Chat Support Agent to assist customers through online chat and digital communication channels. The successful candidate will respond promptly to customer questions, provide accurate information about our menu and services, assist with orders and reservations, and help resolve customer concerns while delivering a positive experience.

• Respond to customer inquiries through live chat and other online communication channels.
• Provide accurate information about menu items, pricing, restaurant hours, services, and promotions.
• Assist customers with online orders, reservations, modifications, and general requests.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and work toward appropriate solutions.
• Communicate clearly, politely, and efficiently with customers.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager or department when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and requests.
• Follow company customer-service policies and procedures.
• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant staff to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication and customer-service skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional communication style.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable using computers, chat platforms, email, and other digital tools.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful when handling difficult customer situations.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or online support experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
