This full-time, remote position is based out of our El Segundo office and offers you the opportunity to provide exceptional digital support to patients and providers from the comfort of your own home. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance through our online chat platform. You will help answer questions, guide users through processes, and ensure every interaction is handled with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism. Your work will directly contribute to patient satisfaction and operational efficiency, supporting Interdent’s mission to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional online chat support to patients and visitors
• Answer questions regarding appointments, insurance, and general healthcare services
• Navigate internal systems to retrieve and relay accurate information
• Document all chat interactions clearly and accurately in the CRM system
• Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members
• Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude in every conversation
• Follow company protocols for data privacy and HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with administrative colleagues to improve response quality
• Meet performance goals for response time and customer satisfaction
• Stay up to date on company policies, services, and healthcare procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with online communication tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Patient and composed when handling inquiries or challenging situations
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
• Prior experience in customer service or healthcare administration is preferred but not required
• Willingness to complete training on HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional weekend or evening shifts as needed
