Role Description

This position involves handling incoming telephone calls and providing excellent customer service to members.

• Receive, respond to, and handle incoming telephone calls with occasional outbound calling.
• Utilize selling skills to build member relationships while maximizing information and sales opportunities.
• Cross-sell appropriate club products through consultation and expertise.
• Demonstrate a positive service attitude by explaining policies and procedures accurately.
• Resolve and process all membership inquiries through first call resolution.
• Sell new memberships and upgrades to increase base growth.
• Maximize NBO opportunities through account maintenance and sales skills.
• Assist members with verbal and written information on various topics, including directions and discounts.
• Complete Triptik requests and assist in auto vacation planning.
• Receive and process cross-over support during disaster situations.
• Adhere to performance metrics, including managing calls and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group products.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service/sales experience in a fast-paced computer-automated business environment.

• Basic knowledge of PC navigation, Internet usage, and email communication.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to set personal goals based on job requirements and be team-oriented.
• Soft sell skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to set up computer equipment and troubleshoot minor connectivity issues.

• This is a Call Center where employees work remotely full-time.
