[Hiring] Member Services Specialist @Amerihealth Caritas

Role Description

Member Services Specialists are the first point of contact for youth, families/caregivers, and providers accessing the System of Care. They are responsible for:

• Answering all calls within a specific service level agreement.
• Completing the registration process and managing questions from treatment providers.
• Determining the appropriate routing of calls and attempting to be the first point of resolution.
• Maintaining consistent procedures and providing outstanding customer service.

We connect youth and families to essential mental health, intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), and substance use services through public programs such as New Jersey’s Children’s System of Care (CSOC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to respond sensitively to Member inquiries preferred.
• Previous customer service and data entry experience desired, preferably in a call center environment.
• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health and/or human services preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows-based PC applications.

Requirements

• Work Arrangement: Remote - DE, NJ, NY, PA (must live within 3 hours of Robbinsville NJ).
• Schedule:
  • Tuesday – Saturday (off Sundays and Mondays)
  • Tuesday - Friday: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Will rotate holidays

• The targeted hiring range for this role is expected to be between $50,000 and $52,000 annually.
