[Hiring] Intake Care Coordinator @Sedgwick

Role Description

To accurately set up new orders into the operating system and provide support to our clients.

• Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.
• Enters claims data into the claims management system upon requesting the appropriate information and analyzing the responses.
• Makes outbound calls to claimant and/or client to obtain new claim details and receives inbound calls.
• Finds opportunities to refer claims within the organization.
• Assigns claims using the tools provided.
• Supports claims staff by providing accurate information during the claim set up process.
• Sets up Quotashare claims.
• Assists with creating documentation and processes to streamline workflow.
• Reviews daily reports to ensure claims are processed.
• Assists with file reviews to ensure accurate set ups.
• Uses multiple platforms to look for adjusters to assign claims.
• Makes outbound call and/or text to adjusters to discuss claim details for assignment.
• Ensure all parties have the required information in order to successfully manage a claim, including loss location, notice of loss (NOL), fee schedule, etc.
• Works with management to make determination on assignment process and resources used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of clerical or property claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
