Role Description

Monitors and reviews incomplete medical records to ensure compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission and other governing body standards and contacts physicians/providers regarding incomplete medical records.

• Assists with medical record completion inquiries.
• Supports requests for release of health record information in compliance with regulatory requirements and Essentia protocols.
• Provides direct support to patients and their proxies for access to and use of the patient health record portal, MyChart.
• This includes education, minor technical support, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with electronic health records
• Completion of medical terminology course (preferred)

Requirements

• Remote work option available
• Day Rotation (Shift Start Time: 8:00, Shift End Time: 4:30)
• No weekends, no holidays, no call obligation
• Union: DC USWA Main & Neighborhoods (DCUMN)

• Compensation Range: $16.82 - $25.05
