Role Description

Mercier Consultancy Group is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a Dutch Speaking Reservations Agent For Booking.com position in Greece — one of the most sought-after Dutch-speaking jobs in the European tourism sector today. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a dedicated point of contact for Dutch-speaking travellers, providing expert reservation support and delivering exceptional customer experiences on behalf of one of the world's most recognised online travel platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries from Dutch-speaking customers regarding hotel bookings, travel reservations, and tourism packages via phone, email, and live chat channels.
• Assist travellers with new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and refund requests in a professional, empathetic, and solution-focused manner.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about accommodation options, travel policies, and tourism destinations to enhance the customer booking experience.
• Collaborate with hotels, property partners, and tourism service providers to resolve booking discrepancies and ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, reservation details, and case notes within the internal CRM system in accordance with company protocols.
• Escalate complex or unresolved customer concerns to senior agents or team leaders in a timely and professional manner.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual and team performance targets, including customer satisfaction scores, response times, and resolution rates.
• Stay informed about the latest updates to Booking.com's platform, tourism industry trends, and travel regulations affecting Dutch-speaking markets.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent Dutch language skills — both spoken and written — are absolutely essential for this role.
• A valid EU passport or EU citizenship is mandatory for eligibility.
• A good working knowledge of English is required for internal communication and training purposes.
• Previous experience in customer service, reservations, hospitality, or the tourism industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to empathise with travellers and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Comfortable working with digital platforms, CRM tools, and reservation management systems; prior exposure to Booking.com or similar online travel platforms is a bonus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced remote working environment within Greece.
