[Hiring] Customs Support Specialist @The Descartes

Role Description

We’re looking for 2 Customer Support Specialists to join our Customer Support team. This new role ensures continuity and a high level of service for our growing customer base. You’ll help customers resolve technical issues, maximize their use of Descartes platforms, and ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to customer requests via phone and email.
• Monitor system performance, deliver training, and support quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot application issues across Descartes logistics platforms.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and solutions.
• Create and update support and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.

Requirements

• Customs Brokerage certification.
• Experience with tools like Descartes OneView, ABI, NetCHB, or QuestaWeb.
• Knowledge of EDI or integration technologies.
• Familiarity with wireless communications.
