Role Description

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will quickly become an integral member of our Customer Support team and a go-to expert on our customers. You will field a variety of inbound phone, email, and live chat inquiries from both our cardholders and card administrators, providing warm, professional customer service to those who rely on our services.

This is a remote position, and you are welcome to work from anywhere in the US.

What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional support to our customers via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Support two distinct customer types:
    • Cardholders who depend on the True Link Card for their daily financial needs.
    • Card Administrators, responsible for funding and managing the True Link Cards.
  • Know the ins and outs of the True Link Card’s capabilities.
  • Learn and embody the β€œTrue Link Voice” - our unique way of communicating with customers.
  • Share customer feedback and experiences with the team.
  • Proudly represent our company, known for providing top-notch customer support.

Who You Are

  • Strong communicator - patient, kind, and empathetic listener; skilled writer.
  • Resilient - energized by speaking with customers over the phone, up to five hours a day.
  • High degree of personal responsibility and ownership in helping customers.
  • Previous professional experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • Ambitious and oriented to learning - excited to learn and navigate new tech platforms.
  • Familiar with remote work and technology.
  • Understands how to use a Mac computer and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience using a CRM and ticketing tools like Zendesk.

Requirements

  • Special consideration for applicants with weekend availability.
  • Experience working in hospitality, such as restaurants or hotels.
  • Experience as a health care coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience managing live chats, often multiple instances at the same time.
  • Experience helping customers with troubleshooting technical issues for both Mac and Windows.
