[Hiring] Customer Support Representative @Skimmer

Role Description

As a Customer Support Representative, you’ll be on the front lines helping pool pros succeed with Skimmer. Every day, you’ll:

• Provide warm, expert assistance across phone, email, and chat channels
• Educate our pros on software capabilities, effective troubleshooting, and optimal workflows
• Partner with Product, Success, and Engineering to bridge the gap between user feedback and technical solutions
• Cultivate rapport through empathetic connection, transparent dialogue, and a splash of humor
• Evolve into a Skimmer authority, mastering how our platform transforms the daily lives of pool professionals

Qualifications

• An ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, and warmth
• Proven background in delivering top-tier customer and technical support
• Understanding of billing workflows, reconciliation, accounting, and/or tools like QuickBooks Online (a major plus!)
• A talent for juggling priorities while staying cool under pressure
• A tech-savvy mindset with a passion for mastering and teaching new digital tools
• Readiness to support our pros Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM CDT

Requirements

• Experience with the following tools is a plus (but not required — we’ll train you up!):
• Intercom: For chat support.
• Dialpad: For handling calls.
• HubSpot: CRM and comprehensive customer tracking.
• Notion: For knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Stripe and QBO: For managing billing and payments.
• Slack: For facilitating internal communications.
